Job Summary:
The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for leading, supervising, and assisting in the cleaning and sanitizing of all food prep equipment, following all FDA and SQF requirements as they pertain to the facility, equipment, and other items used in the manufacture of All Seasonings Ingredient’s products. The Sanitation Supervisor oversees and executes general facility cleaning duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs standardized cleaning procedures, following chemical handling, PPE, and OSHA requirements
- Understands the manufacturing process and equipment/parts design to ensure proper equipment sanitation and efficient startups
- Inspect and report on all work areas and equipment to ensure SQF standards are met and notify management of any/all concerns
- Responsible for efficiently performing duties in a variety of operational facilities for their sanitation and cleaning needs
- Coordinates and guides the work of sanitation team members to achieve goals for timeliness and overall cleanliness
- Maintains records and daily logs, adhering to all current SOPs, and follows all safety procedures
- Is an authorized company driver who utilizes the box truck to move waste from outbuildings to the trash compactor or cardboard baler
Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervises the Sanitation team, typically 4 to 5 employees who are executing the sanitation work directly.

- Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
- Reading and comprehension abilities for the proper use of chemicals
- Must be able to follow the Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines when using and storing chemicals
Experience, Education, and Training -
- Education Requirement: Minimum High School diploma or its equivalent
- Previous Sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus
