We are seeking a Cook / Server to serve a school in New Smyrna Beach. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals from recipes for our students and staff. If you have a passion for feeding our youth during their favorite time of the day, we want to hear from you! Please DO NOT go to the school as we are a 3rd party hired through them as their School Food Management Company.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Set up the kitchen with the necessary tools and equipment
Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
Follow all food safety regulations
Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
Must be able to pass a background check that we do for you
Qualifications :
Previous commercial cooking experience in a similar role is required
ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
Excellent time management skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
