Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience with picking and packing, shipping and receiving, and materials handling.
Duties
- Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently to meet daily targets.
- Build pallets for shipping and ensure proper organization of products within the warehouse.
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Update computer with correct inventory records
- Prepare shipping labels
- Operate small overhead crane
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, with a focus on order picking and materials handling.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts preferred, but not required
