We are looking for an experienced veterinary technician with strong preference given to RVT/CVT to join our growing, privately owned, full-service general practice. Advanced skills are desired for this full-time position, but we will train the right candidate. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding client service and quality medicine. We work hard but have fun while doing it. Providing a work/life balance is important, so no nights or weekends. Veterinary Technician Responsibilities/Skills:
- Assisting in exam rooms/surgeries
- Performing routine labwork including cytologies, U/As, and utilizing IDEXX in-house lab equipment.
- Communicating directly with clients – in person and over the phone
- Maintaining detailed patient records
- Collecting blood samples
- Performing dental cleanings and dental x-rays
- Filling prescriptions
- Monitoring anesthesia
- Taking x-rays
- Providing nursing care to hospitalized patients
- All techs are cross trained in client service duties

Schedule
- Monday through Friday – no nights or weekends
- 8 am – 5 pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch. You will leave at 5pm 98% of the time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.50 per hour
