Job details :
- Set up patient contracts and maintain accurate balance ledgers.
- Monitor accounts for any discrepancies or delinquency.
- Proactively monitor delinquent accounts and follow up with patients as needed.
- Work closely with patients to address financial questions, including changing payment due dates, refinancing options, and managing late fees.
- Interface with insurance companies to verify coverage, submit claims, and resolve any issues.
- Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and how they apply to their treatment plans.
- New Contracts & Down Payments :
- Facilitate the signing of new patient contracts and ensure timely collection of down payments.
- Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic office, particularly in a financial or administrative role, is preferred.
- Proficiency in using dental / orthodontic management software and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
