What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radio Frequency Engineer position at ALL.SPACE?
As an RF Engineer at ALL.SPACE, you will be part of our Radio Frequency (RF) testing team, contributing to the characterisation of novel antenna systems using state-of-the-art facilities and measurement equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing RF measurements of antenna components on dedicated test-stands, in anechoic chambers, and using outdoor far field ranges.
- Developing RF measurement test regimes.
- Contributing to RF measurement software development.
- Documenting and reporting in industry-grade product tracking suites.
- Communicating effectively with several teams
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- You should have a BS or MS in Systems, Electronics or related Engineering discipline.
- You should have 2 years of experience in RF testing, ideally including antenna testing.
- You should be experienced in writing test and performance reports and summaries.
- You should be technically proficient in MS Office products and ideally experienced with JIRA and Confluence.
- Familiarity with standard scientific computing toolkits, languages, and packages, such as Matlab/Python etc. is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Good understanding of RF testing and RF test equipment.
- Knowledge and experience with multi-disciplinary systems with mechanical, electronic, and RF sub-systems would be beneficial.
