All Staffing Warehousing is looking for a Wet Room Technician for a client in Bensalem Pa. This is a temp to hire position. Shift time will be 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Starting rate is $15.00/Hr. This is a very hands on position and knowledge of power washing equipment is a huge plus. See below for position details:
Job Summary:
The Wet Room Technician I will be responsible for performing basic maintenance, repairs, and inspections of equipment and machinery within our workshop. Responsibility includes all aspects of dye penetrant testing, and cleaning. This role is ideal for candidates who are mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and passionate about hands-on work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment
- Troubleshooting; assisting in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and failures
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Login data regarding plates to be serviced to ensure accurate record of customer unit(s).
- Clean and dye penetrant test plates.
- Learn and apply technical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance including pump filter systems and pressure pots.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in mechanics or related field is a plus
- 1-2 years of experience in a mechanical or maintenance role preferred
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety practices in the workplace
- Basic computer skills preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as required.
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and kneeling.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and exposure to hazardous materials.
Work Environment:
- Primarily indoor shop environment with occasional outdoor work.
- Exposure to loud noises, fumes, and machinery.
