Warehouse Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse functionality, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee transportation planning and logistics to optimize freight movement and reduce costs.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency within the warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to promote professional development and team performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse operations with overall business objectives.
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules, including forklifts and other machinery used in the warehouse.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of transportation management principles and practices.
• Proficient in inventory management techniques and systems.
• Experience in process improvement methodologies to enhance operational workflows.
• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management processes.
• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is essential.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
