Job Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to provide General Anesthesia coverage in our Southern West Virginia facility. As a member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of cases and patients.
- Key Responsibilities: Provide general anesthesia coverage in our hospital setting.
- Qualifications: Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible and hold an active WV license and DEA.
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm with 5x8 hour shifts plus beeper call.
- Hospital Setting: Our hospital features 179 beds, 10 points of service, and a 16 FTE program.
- Case Mix: Cover a range of cases including GS, Endo, OB, Gyn, Pod, Uro, ENT, Ortho, and Ortho-totals. NO hearts, No Heads, No Peds, MD's do Epidurals - but will take CRNA's who want to do epidurals and OB, ok if CRNA's don't do spinal or regional blocks.
- Supervision: 1:4 MD ratio with supervision but MDs perform epidurals.
- EMR System: Epic EMR system is used.
