Duties
- Assist physical therapists in implementing care plans for patients
- Aid patients with exercises and therapeutic activities under the therapist's guidance
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising therapist
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas
- Provide support to patients during therapy sessions
Requirements
- Experience or exposure to a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital, clinic, or skilled nursing facility
- Knowledge of patient care practices and occupational health standards
- Familiarity with geriatric care and inpatient rehabilitation is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks within the physical therapy setting
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
