Pest Control Technician

We are searching for a hardworking, determined, and reliable individual to hire as a full time pest control technician.

Job Requirements

• This position requires driving to and from different parts of the city including surrounding cities.
• Able to work outside in any weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
• Drug-free (drug tests will be administered).
• Must have a valid TX drivers license.
• Must have a clean criminal background.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Responsibilities and Duties
• Capable of working at heights up to 20 feet, performing inspections, diagnoses, exclusions, and animal removals, including trapping, baiting, light carpentry, and rooftop work

This job is more than simply spraying pesticides and killing bugs. We strive to learn about the insects that plague our customers, and come up with action plans that are specific to the target pests. We desire to keep our customers highly educated about the methods and products we use.

Here are a few things that will be expected of you:

• Run and complete assigned service routes in a timely manner.
• Address customer concerns confidently, and be able to walk them through what you do during service.
• Maintain and take care of company equipment and vehicle.
• Read the labels of chemicals, and maintain knowledge of how and where to use them, and what to use them on.
• Learn basic behaviors, harborage sites, and biologies of the insects commonly dealt with.
• Ability to work outdoors, and in the elements.
• Workplace is a smoke free environment, which includes the company vehicles.
