The position will be responsible for working with team members to manage and oversee the completion of commercial electrical installations in all phases of commercial projects.
All-State Electrical has been in business for over 27 years. Most of our work is with repeat customers, so attention to customer service is important.

Job Description :
The Foreman and Superintendent roles are viewed as leaders in the organization and is responsible for delivering high quality commercial and industrial electrical installations safely while achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction. In this role, you will participate in project planning and manage the day-to-day activities on-site that adhere to project schedule. You will be responsible for the management and training of on-site personnel and must be capable of managing large numbers of individuals and assigning project tasks based on experience. You will coordinate with multiple trades on site as well as All-State office personnel and General Contractor office personnel. Understanding project budgets and schedules is critical to the success of the project. You must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. As with any construction project, you must be able to adapt to the changing work environment while meeting safety, quality, financial, and operational goals. A foreman reports to the project manager and the executive officer.
Complete quality projects safely, on-time, and in budget :
Read & interpret various types of construction drawings, equipment specifications, and electrical codeMaster the reading and interpretation of contract documents to complete installation and coordinationHave and maintain all required tools; use them appropriatelySkilled at operating all tools, equipment, and machinery necessary to complete constructionInstall and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systemsPerform system layout and installation support to team members working under your leadTroubleshoot and resolve electrical problems using appropriate testing devicesInspect electrical components and installations for quality controlCoordinate and oversee the performance of subcontractors to maintain the scheduleMaintain daily logs detailing job progress, delays, constraints, or issues affecting completionAttend regular project meetings and develop completion timelinesPerform all work in compliance with both company policy and OSHA regulationsCommunicate effectively with different personalities while showing proper attention to detail.Necessary physical requirements including the ability to lift / carry up to 50 lbs., work at various heights, and work in varying weather environmentsAbility to work whatever hours necessary to meet job requirementsAttention to detailFocus on delivering the highest level of customer satisfactionPlease note that while this role involves supervision of other workers, this role can require working on your toolsEvaluate and develop team members working under your lead :
Determine if individuals can perform to their classification and assign tasks suited to that abilityMaintain safe work conditions including the availability and usage of proper tools and resourcesWork with our development to help train and educate fellow team members where possible and necessaryProvide guidance and encouragement for team membersParticipate in annual reviews for apprentices and electriciansEnsure materials, equipment and products are appropriate and accurate for installation :
Receive and confirm accurate material deliveries on lighting, gear, and miscellaneousitems to keep the project within budgetEnsure deliveries of all purchases accurately match shipping detailsWork with management to resolve any material concerns or shortagesOrder materials through purchasing softwareRepresent All-State in a professional manner with customers, vendors, staff and the general public
Dress and groom in a clean, neat, presentable manner while working.Keep company vehicle, equipment, and personal tools clean and well operating.Always provide competent leadership while setting a positive example for fellow team members.Handle difficult customers, diagnostic issues, and pressure situations in a controlled manner.Qualifications
7 or more years experience in the electrical industry, including experience supervising electrical installations.Own basic hand tools and experience working with hand tools, power tool and electronic test equipmentFormal apprenticeship training is preferredPossess clean driving history for company vehicle usage (MVR is required)Ability to pass any pre-employment screenings including drug testStrong working knowledge of job site safetyHigh standard of integrity and professionalismAll-State Electrical has been building strong relationships and successful projects for nearly 30 years.
