Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team’s quarry site. The Loader Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment, such as front-end loaders, to move, load, and transport aggregate materials within the quarry.
Essential Functions:
- Operate loaders and excavators to move and load materials, such as stone, sand, and gravel, into crushers, screens, or trucks.
- Manage material stockpiles and maintain organized and safe work areas.
- Assist in operating and maintaining equipment such as screens and stackers.
- Perform routine pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to safety regulations, including MSHA Part 46 standards and company policies.
- Monitor material quality and ensure proper handling to meet production specifications.
- Support site cleanup and minor equipment repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with quarry staff and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
Required Experience
- Proven experience operating a loader and excavator in a quarry or similar environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2 years experience.
- Must be motivated and able to handle multiple projects with little supervision in an extremely fast paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Will be required to pass a physical and drug screen.
Preferred Experience
- Massachusetts (MA) hydraulic license (we will assist with obtaining this license if needed).
- MSHA Part 46 Certification.
- Experience operating screens and stackers.
Work Conditions:
Must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise level (PPE will be provided, including hearing protection as required), long hours standing, walking, and laboring outdoors in varying weather conditions – frequently in extreme heat.

Performs work independently within scope of established guidelines and practices. Consults with Foreman where clarification or exception to procedure may be required.
