Job Summary:
A packer is responsible for stacking finished goods to a specified work order. They verify the correct quantities and quality checking completed orders, manage finished goods inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to pack/bundle structurally sound products and structures.
Essential Responsibilities
- Uses power tools and mechanical equipment to pack finished goods.
- Place packing finished good in a shipping crate to minimize potential of product damage during shipping.
- Verify styles and quantities of materials picked.
- Follow company procedures and directives.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
- Resolve discrepancies. Research all possible solutions to ensure order is accurate.
Qualifications
- Focused attention span.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions on work orders and equipment.
- Able to follow all safety requirements.
- Ability to maneuver power tools and crane.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
