Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Position Summary

We are immediately seeking a qualified Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver (non-CDL) to support the warehouse operation by fulfilling logistical needs in processing, storing inventory, picking orders, and ensuring orders are going out for deliveries in a timely manner.

Branch: Walcro

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

· Pick, pack, stage, and load customer orders.

· Receive inventory and inspect products for damage, stock products to bin locations.

· Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process.

· Operate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant equipment.

· Follow shipping and receiving standard operating procedures (SOP) for both paperwork and electronic systems processes.

· Assist the Branch Manager in executing warehouse standards of safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.

· Organize inventory to meet safety, efficiency, and inventory control standards for storage and transport.

· Ensure SOPs for inventory control are followed so pallets are properly shrink-wrapped, strapped, and banded for storage and transport.

· Delivering customer orders per our established schedule as a delivery driver ensuring a positive customer experience while complying with all Department of Transportation regulations for a vehicle 26,000 lbs. or less.

· Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

Qualifications

Education & Experiences

· High School diploma or equivalent degree.

· Minimum of 2 years of warehouse and or fulfillment experience or a similar environment.

· Excellent attention to detail with consistent, accurate, and quality work output.

· Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks to maximize productive results.

· Must be able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs.

· Clean driving record including a valid state motor vehicle license.

· Ability to pass the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screen in accordance with company requirements.

Other Qualifications

· Experience driving a forklift.

· Experience in the flooring industry is a plus.

· Be able to wear work boots and meet the standard of the company’s workplace safety (if applicable).

· Be able to pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record screen as a part of our pre-employment screen.

· Legally permitted to work in the United States.
