We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Utility Worker to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial dishwashing machines to clean dishes, utensils, trays, and cookware
- Hand wash items as needed
- Ensure cleanliness of the dishwashing area at all times
- Remove trash and recyclables and maintain cleanliness in utility areas
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks as assigned
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support kitchen staff with other utility tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, banquet, or catering environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Willingness to learn new culinary skills and assist in various kitchen tasks as required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
