Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning activities, including buffing floors and maintaining various surfaces.
- Carry out custodial duties in residential settings as needed, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Ensure that restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies regularly.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, and entryways to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Respond promptly to any cleaning requests or emergencies that may arise during shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care practices, including buffing and polishing, is advantageous.
- Experience in industrial cleaning environments is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
