Job Title: Industrial Electrician

This position involves working as an Industrial Electrician, requiring 8 years of experience. Our ideal candidate will possess the ability to safely and promptly perform tasks involved with day-to-day maintenance and support of electrical systems on offshore production platforms to minimize or resolve downtime.
A key requirement is the ability to be a team player and work closely with Production Personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads
- Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as ohmmeter, battery, and buzzer and oscilloscope
- Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
- Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of material and work pieces during installation
- Work on electrical systems ranging from 12vcd to 480 vac; electrical meters and diagnostics tools for troubleshooting electrical systems
- Perform minor maintenance of cleaning activities of tools and equipment
- Electrical Area Classification
- Low Voltage AC Distribution Systems, Solar/Wind & Battery Systems, Power Transmission-Transformers and branch circuits, Power Generation- To include Principles of Generation and Generator Controls and Generator Protection Safety Systems, Gas Compressor Operation and Safety Devices
We are looking for candidates with 8 years or more of electrical experience or 4 years of Electrical maintenance experience on Onshore Hydrocarbons Processing or other industry plants in conjunction with a recommended 2 Year Offshore Production electrical maintenance experience.
Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift in all weather and temperature extremes.
