ATMN provides accountability, teaching, mentoring, and networking opportunities in a safe environment for youth in middle school and high school facing high-risk situations. ATMN works with the greater Irving community in providing group programs with working professionals to walk alongside these youth demonstrating healthy decisions, self-confidence and vision for their future.
We have multiple programs we run annually through our community center model.
,
We are seeking quality adults who want to mentor pre-teen and teenage girls and boys in the Irving, Texas community. We serve 5th-12th graders that come from at-risk environments and are seeking advice, encouragement, support, a listening ear, and friendship in order to support their future and become successful.
Located in South Irving. Variety of schedule opportunities avaliable.
We are looking for mentors looking to give support and guidance to some really fantastic middle and high schoolers. Help empower youth through small group, once a week mentoring.
At risk middle school and high school girls and boys are facing challenges or insecurities. From online bullying to unstable living conditions, these kids often have nowhere to go and no one to talk to.
By mentoring in a small group chat once a week, you can give middle and high schoolers a safe space to share their feelings and to feel a part of a community. Everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and loved. With your help, we can help these kids grow and thrive.
Because of the need to provide the youth with stability, we ask our mentors to make their best efforts to attend every week for a year. We understand life gets in the way sometimes, but it takes consistency to build trust in relationships. If you often have nighttime commitments and would have to miss mentoring group, please consider signing up for our other more flexible volunteer opportunities!
