What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tire and Lube Service Technician position at ALL TIRE AND AUTO SERVICE CENTER?
General Service Technician
Do oil changes ,tire mounting and balancing, clean up, shop maintenance
minor auto and truck repairs .
The GS Technician reports to the Store Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Must speak English well enough to take instructions from supervisor and communicate with customers. Must understand enough math to verify proper billing of time and parts. Must be able to read and write English well enough to complete and use work orders and instruction manuals.
Must have full use of the body and senses to be able to service, repair, build and operate automobiles, vans, and medium sized trucks.
Must have experience and training in the service and repair of same equipment.
Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Must be able to present at least three job references.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to climb and balance on equipment.
Must be able to lift in excess of 60 pounds.
Must have excellent eye sight and depth perception.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The work is primarily performed in the shop which is subject to extremes of temperature, humidity. There will be moving machinery and some work must be done in high or hazardous places. There will be exposure to fumes, airborne particles and vibration. There is a risk of electrical shock or explosion if work is done improperly. However, if the conditions are hazardous the GS Technician is to bring it to the attention of the Store Manager for instructions.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
