Overview: This position is responsible for customer development and retention through contract negotiation and enforcement. This person will have a defined sales territory and develop the territory by prospecting new accounts and developing new customer bases.
Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:
- Prospect new customers and develop new accounts.
- Maintain existing accounts through service agreement renewals and retention efforts.
- Complete in-house paperwork and return calls in a timely manner.
- Visit with customers to resolve any customer service issues.
- Document work records and reports.
- Work with the supervisor to resolve any pricing or service issues.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work independently and effectively with little supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
- Ability to understand current trends and competition in the marketplace.
- Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations. Listens and gets clarification.
- Must be organized with the ability to keep files and records in order to secure new business.
- Ability after training to price out work according to type and service level.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate clerical skills – typing, mathematics, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Must have current driver’s license, appropriate insurance coverage, and own vehicle.
