Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Duties
- Operate valves to regulate the flow of material at a specified rate
- Signal the paving machine operator to start and stop
- Use depth gauge to verify depth specification of the asphalt.
- Turn hand-wheels to set the angle and depth of the screed
- Assist in the general operation of each job site
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and minimum one (1) year of construction experience, seal coating experience preferred.
- Clean driving record
- Candidate must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work in a number of diverse outside locations is pertinent, as work locations may change
- Punctuality, consistent attendance and self-direction for the success of the operations.
- Ability to work some nights and weekends
