Hvac technician

All Year Cooling is searching for a full-time HVAC Sales Technician to join our South Florida team for a year-round position, working 40 hours per week for residential and light commercial air conditioning.

Job Duties

• Prepare proposals based on all labor, equipment, and materials needed to complete the job properly and to the customer's satisfaction.
• Provide HVAC solutions and designs to improve the customer's AC system.
• Manage and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction. Communicate clearly and follow up promptly on customer inquiries.
• Develop and maintain a customer base with referrals.
• Perform daily work duties associated with the trade with little to no supervision in the field.

Qualifications

• Technically knowledgeable in the installation and operation of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilating systems in residential homes.
• At least 3 years of trade experience in installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Skill equivalent to that acquired through the completion of a refrigeration or air conditioning mechanic’s apprenticeship program required / Trade school.
• Ability to climb, operate, and work from ladders.
• Possess an analytical and mechanical aptitude.
• Comfortable working without supervision.
• Must own and be able to properly operate hand tools, power tools, pressure gauges, vacuum pump, torches, etc.
• Read mechanical drawings.
• Ability to perform physical labor such as lifting or hauling.
• Committed individual with a good attitude, ready to fix issues.
• Availability 6 days a week / nights / weekends (We are open 7 days a week).
