ALL4 is seeking a Managing Consultant to join our Project Management Office (PMO). This individual is a recognized name in the project management community, acts as a business driver, and is an expert in project management with a vision for enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and value of project management systems and processes. The PMO Managing Consultant understands the consulting business and has proven ability to develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and business leaders while managing profitable projects and maintaining a high degree of client and team satisfaction. This individual is a self-motivated, coachable, growth-oriented individual who uses their project management best practices, expertise, and experience to aid in the growth of consulting services at ALL4. We work closely with clients in strategic partnerships supported by a foundation of authentic communication, personal ownership, and accountability. Flexible work location is available while work in the office is desired.
Requirements
- Expertise in project management and project portfolio financials with a keen understanding of the consulting business model.
- Mastery of the project lifecycle and seller/manager/doer process with demonstrated ability to take new business opportunities from introduction to project closeout.
- Guide ALL4’s strategy for implementing and scaling project management and resource management systems and tools.
- Drive operational excellence and variance resolution to meet company key performance indicators.
- Work collaboratively with project managers to overcome project management and business barriers.
- Support project manager onboarding, training, learning and development programs.
- Demonstrate a high-level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
- Client project management, including invoicing, proposal development, client growth, revenue generation, and other financial objectives. Annual client revenues targets as determined collaboratively with the Project Management Director (PMD).
- Lead in a manner that is aligned and represents ALL4’s core values both internally and externally.
- Understand, implement, and lead ALL4’s vision.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required and >10 years of proven project manager experience in a consulting business.
- Possesses a keen understanding of business financials and the consulting business model.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong document production skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office) and technical writing ability.
- Proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to make value-add presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization.
- Self-directed and entrepreneurial with a competitive and persistent focus towards achieving results.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow proactively.
- Effective problem resolution and consultative skills combined with the ability to delegate successfully.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse range of individuals at all organizational levels.
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
