Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks.
- Uphold infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Provide care in specialized areas including pediatrics, senior care, emergency medicine, and dementia care as needed.
- Assist with medical office tasks related to workers' compensation law when applicable.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices to prevent the spread of illness.
- Experience in primary care settings with a focus on holistic patient management.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations typical of emergency medicine environments.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques to support patients with cognitive impairments.
- Competence in using electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks, for documentation and patient management.
- Understanding of workers' compensation law as it pertains to patient treatment and documentation requirements.
