What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Faculty - Early Childhood Studies position at Allan Hancock College?
The Early Childhood Studies program at Allan Hancock College is seeking applications to develop a qualified pool of part-time faculty for in-person instructional vacancies. The assignment would be responsible for teaching ECS courses in person at the North County Jail. Positions may be available during the Fall and Spring semesters, or summer sessions.
The teaching assignment will include one or more courses offered in the Early Childhood Studies program.

· Assignments may include day, evening, or weekend classes.Master’s in child development, early childhood education, human development, home economics/ family and consumer studies with a specialization in child development/early childhood education or educational psychology with a specialization in child development/early childhood education
OR
Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in social work, educational supervision, elementary education, special education, psychology, bilingual/bicultural education, life management/ home economics, family life studies
OR
Family and consumer studies.SALARY:
Lecture Rate: $65.74 to $86.44 per hour depending upon education and experience
Lab Rate: $57.27 to $75.26 per hour depending upon education and experience
Activity Rate: $37.13 to $50.62 per hour depending upon education and experience
