We are looking for a part-time Janitorial Supervisor for the night shift in Allentown, PA.
General responsibilities are:
- Ensure "Best Practices" are met taking care of quality control and training for task specific, monitoring equipment, following green cleaning standards, supporting productivity / staffing arrangements.
- Evaluate cleaners and their performance
- Ensure paperwork is completed and employees are trained on our time and attendance system
- Assist in the coordination of project work, floor work and periodic tasks
- Assist in the closing of the building, including collection of equipment, supplies
- Ensure proper supply levels are maintained and orders are submitted to the Operations Manager in a timely fashion
- Assist Operations Manager in addressing customer and tenant complaints with the cleaners
- Ensure new site personnel are properly trained and provide retraining when necessary
- Assist Operations Manager in recruiting and hiring new staff
- Collect all Paid Time Off & Vacation requests from the building and coordinate coverage
- Report any building access issues, security concerns, or employee issues to the Operations Manager
- Must be able to read and write in English and Spanish
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 5:00pm to 10:00pm
Qualification include:
- Minimum 2-3 years supervisory experience in contract cleaning environment
- Focus on quality control to include completing formal inspections, identifying, and coordinating the correction of cleaning issues
- Skilled communicator
- Able to direct, coach, correct and train staff
- Basic understanding of carpet and tile maintenance
- Ability to multi-task
- Experienced and comfortable engaging with Property Management, Tenants, and Security
