We are seeking an experienced EHS professional to join our team as a Safety Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate, federal, and state safety policies. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing training materials and conducting safety training and new hire orientation.
- Conducting on-site safety observations and inspections, audits, and training needs assessments.
- Assisting Operations with pre-planning safety into all situations through risk-assessment, job hazard analysis, identifying hazards, and putting in place controls.
- Reading and providing training documentation and other materials to ensure worksites have required OSHA, MSHA, and DOT documentation in place.
