Crew Sign On Bonus: Each Crew member will get $1000 at the end of the first week and another $1000 at the end of 90 days.
Allan Myers is seeking Mainline High Production Utility Pipe Crew Members due to our growth and workload in the region to install sewer, storm, and water infrastructure for a variety of large-scale projects, including commercial sitework, residential developments, water projects, heavy highway, and water treatment facilities. This role involves the installation of concrete, ductile iron, and polyethylene pipe, storm drainage systems, manholes, and inlets in both new construction and infrastructure upgrade projects throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
Key Responsibilities
- Install sewer, storm, and water pipe systems per project specifications.
- Set and install drainage systems, manholes, and inlets accurately and efficiently.
- Excavate trenches and ensure proper grade, alignment, and compaction.
- Operate and assist with rigging, setting, and aligning pipe sections.
- Work with concrete, ductile iron, and polyethylene piping.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards to ensure a safe work environment.
- Operate and assist in the use of excavators, loaders, trenchers, and other heavy equipment.
- Communicate and coordinate with supervisors, field managers, and crew members to maintain project schedules.
- Crew Needed: Field Manager, Excavator Operator, Loader Operator, Top Man, Pipe Technician and Pipelayer
- Experience in utility pipe installation, specifically mainline sewer, storm, and water systems.
- Ability to work with various pipe materials (concrete, ductile, polyethylene, PVC, etc.).
- Knowledge of grading, trenching, and compaction techniques.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings.
- Knowledge and use of pipe laser is required
- Commitment to Home safe Tonight, safe work practices and OSHA compliance.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and install pipe, tools and materials in outdoor job site conditions, year-round.
- Willingness to travel to project sites throughout PA and NJ.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required (continuing education in construction highly desirable).
- Minimum 4-6 years of construction pipe experience
- Valid driver's license required
