What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Recruiting Liaison position at Allan Myers?
Responsibilities
Allan Myers is looking for a creative individual that can assist with all school recruiting efforts in and around Southeastern PA, Southern New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. They must be comfortable working in a construction environment and be able to effectively connect and communicate with students
Responsibilities:
- Servers as a liaison to develop partnerships between local schools and Allan Myers
- Provides career and academic counseling, planning, and advising to potential candidates
- Attend career fairs and school functions to promote career opportunities with Allan Myers
- Assist with teaching classes with a local pre-apprenticeship program
- Work with Director of Talent Acquisition to develop student recruitment strategies
- Help develop students through internships and work-based learning programs
- Regularly speak/present in front of large groups
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
- Teaching experience and understanding of the school system preferred
- Marketing background is a plus
- Knowledge of Construction industry a plus.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills & the ability to connect with counselors & students
- Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and SharePoint.
- Must enjoy and be comfortable speaking in public
- Passion for working with and developing students
- Must possess time-management and effective communication (verbal/written) skills.
- Willingness to learn various software applications.
