What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estate Sale Assistant position at Allay Estate Sales?
Job Description:
We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented individual to join our estate sale company on a part-time basis, which can turn into full-time. If you enjoy organizing, interacting with people, and don’t mind a bit of heavy lifting, this could be a great fit for you.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in organizing, staging, and setting up estate sale items in a visually appealing manner
- Providing excellent customer service and answering questions during the sale
- Ensuring the sale space remains tidy and organized throughout the event
- Handling small transactions or assisting customers with purchases (optional, depending on experience)
Requirements:
- Must be available on weekends (sales typically happen Friday–Sunday)
- Friendly and professional demeanor with strong communication skills
- A good eye for organization and display is a plus
- Punctual, dependable, and willing to work as part of a small team
- Must be okay with driving to the job-site. Our sales are all over the Pittsburgh Area
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a flexible schedule, likes working with people, and isn’t afraid to get a little hands-on.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
