We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Life Skills Instructor to support individuals with disabilities in achieving their SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-Bound) goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to individuals with disabilities to improve their daily living skills.
- Assist with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, money management, medical appointment coordination, and community integration.
- Help individuals set and achieve their personalized SMART goals for greater independence.
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment tailored to each person’s unique needs.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistent progress.
- Document progress and updates as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others succeed.
- Reliable transportation; mileage is reimbursed.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours based on client needs.
