Fire Alarm Technician/Installer
Allcom Electric is seeking a qualified Fire Alarm Technician/Installer. Most of the work is large multiunit residential new construction and renovations. Allcom is the largest renovation Contractor in the Western United States. We are looking for an energetic self-motivated technician with good communication, organizational skills, and strong customer service skills.
Duties Include:
- Install, program, and troubleshoot Fire Alarm Systems
- Able to install the proper cabling for the scope of work
- Create and maintain drawings and accurate documentation on installation paperwork for all systems
- Must have ability to solve problems as they arise
- Aptitude to learn new technology and code as it changes
Systems we work with:
- Silent Knight
- Autocall
- Firelite
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years experience with Security and Fire Alarms
- Basic knowledge of construction and electrical wiring
- Knowledge of NFPA 72, CBC, NFPA 70 and local fire codes
- Basic Computer Skills – PC, Networks, Wireless, etc
- Fire Life Safety card is required
- Must have a clean DMV record and pass background check
- High School Diploma
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
