Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including security alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage equipment and wiring
- Program and configure security systems according to specifications
- Collaborate with clients to determine their low voltage system needs
- Provide training to clients on system operation
- Complete service orders in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications
- Proficiency in computer networking and understanding of network configurations
- Knowledge of schematics and ability to interpret technical drawings
- Experience with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) and computer hardware
- Familiarity with telecommunication systems and hand tools used in the trade
- Previous experience as a service technician or in alarm system sales is a plus
