Are you a skilled and dedicated roofing professional looking for an opportunity to grow with a reputable company? Allcon Roofing is seeking a Field Technician to join our team and help deliver high-quality roofing services to commercial and residential clients. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity and longevity of roofing systems while prioritizing safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Roofing Inspections, Repairs, and Maintenance :

  • Perform inspections and maintenance on a variety of roofing systems, including low-slope membranes, BURs, modified bitumen, shingles, shakes, metal, slate, copper, and more.
  • Identify and diagnose roofing issues, providing effective solutions to prevent further damage.
  • Assist in the installation of roofing materials while ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Tools, Safety, and Collaboration :

  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment required for roofing projects.
  • Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection measures.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers to provide excellent customer service.

    Required Skills and Experience :

  • Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and repair techniques.
  • Prior experience in roofing, construction, or related service work.
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred).

    • Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • This role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and precipitation.
  • Exposure to potentially hazardous materials and environments, including heights and uneven surfaces.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
