Allcon of Greenville is looking for a skilled Metal Fabricator to help bring our high-quality construction and roofing projects to life. What You'll Do: As a Metal Fabricator, you'll play a key role in producing custom and standard metal components from materials like galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and copper. You'll bring technical drawings to life, transforming them into roof panels, wall trim, siding, and accessories. This role is a mix of fabrication, collaboration, and quality control with occasional installation assistance.
Your Impact:
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine materials and fabrication steps
Fabricate, assemble, and occasionally install metal components
Fill and fulfill orders for roof panels, trim, and accessories
Operate a variety of fabrication equipment and tools safely and efficiently
Ensure quality and accuracy in every product through inspections and precise measurements
Keep the workspace clean and organized, assist with maintenance, and uphold safety standards
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years' experience in metal or sheet metal fabrication
Proficient with fabrication tools and equipment, including brakes, shears, saws, and roll formers
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
Solid math and measurement skills with great attention to detail
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Vocational training or certification in welding or metal fabrication
Background in roofing or construction
Experience with material tracking, order fulfillment, and warehouse coordination
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and reach throughout the shift
Work primarily in a shop setting with exposure to noise, heat, dust, and sharp materials
Must wear appropriate PPE at all times
Additional Requirements:
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
