Senior Process/Mechanical Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Process/Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, planning, and coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering projects through all phases, from concept to construction. Your expertise in mechanical systems and process engineering will contribute to innovative solutions that meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review construction documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate engineering projects, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams during the planning, design, and construction phases.
- Develop and review calculations, specifications, and designs for process and mechanical systems, including P&ID development.
- Provide expertise in designing mechanical systems and equipment.
- Generate and review precise engineering calculations and specifications.
- Utilize computer-aided drafting applications effectively to support design processes.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering design, estimating, specification preparation, and construction document preparation (nuclear experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Federal, State, and Local codes and standards, particularly Department of Energy Orders.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred but not required.
- Strong familiarity with computer-aided drafting tools and technologies.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
