What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Meter Installer position at AllDrive Services?
NECO, an installation contractor of water meters and meter reading systems is hiring Water Meter Installers for a project in Ada, Ohio and projects throughout the Midwest region.
The pay averages $20 - $25 per hour based on meeting production goals.
- Company paid housing for projects outside of the employee’s home area. Candidates must be willing to travel to projects across the region.
- Able to return home on weekends.
- Tools and uniforms are supplied.
- Candidates must have a basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to work outside in an unsupervised setting.
- We offer on the job training, including one day of classroom training and multiple days working with an experienced installer.
- Each morning your project manager will give you a list of work orders to complete.
- With each work order, you will perform very basic plumbing and wiring to upgrade the customers water meter.
- You will record your work on a tablet using the project work order software.
Advancement opportunities: The next step for an installer is Crew Leader then Field Supervisor.
