What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior GPU Kernel Engineer position at Alldus?
We are a VC-backed Tech Start-up building a next-generation compiler for high performance AI training and inference. Our compiler automatically generates, and tunes fit for purpose GPU Kernels on any hardware.
We are looking for a Senior GPU Kernel Engineer to join our team. You are someone excited to join an organization backed by some of the biggest VCs and names in tech to build something truly novel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze performance optimization strategies/bottlenecks in ML inference & training,
- Develop and optimize HPC kernels in CUDA, ROCm, Triton, etc.
- Use C/C & Python to implement software and programing solutions
- Maximize GPU speed, efficiency, and performance optimizations
- Optimize existing machine learning compilers or frameworks
Technical Qualifications:
- B.S. (M.S./Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field
- Demonstrated professional programming experience in C/C & Python
- Expertise in GPU and kernel optimizations
- Experience training and deploying ML models at scale
- Experience with HPC and distributed systems
