Position Title: Housing Program Crew
Reports To: Housing Supervisor/Crew Leader
Classification: Full Time/Non-Exempt
Status: Hourly - 40 hours per week
Range: $14.00-$17.00 per hour
Date: 09-18-2024
Summary/Objective: Under the general direction of the Housing Supervisor, this position is performing a variety of housing program building activities associated with the construction of all
housing projects, including Affordable/Attainable Housing, Blight Reduction/Deconstruction, Weatherization and other energy efficient activities. Specific position focus (but not be limited to):
Material handling, home repairs, preparation and maintaining job site, installation of prescribed weatherization measures, installation of Health and Safety measures, rough in of ventilation systems,
equipment and job site organization and safety, assistance with equipment and supply inventory.
Essential Functions:
• Maintain all programmatic standards and client confidentiality standards.
• Assists in housing services activities (Construction and Deconstruction), weatherization, and energy efficiency programs as directed.
• Attain or maintain certifications as required by programmatic stakeholders.
• Stay current on all regulations, systems, and procedures as related to housing and weatherization
• Liaise with internal staff.
• Coordinate and complete project-based work.
• Position assists in the upkeep, repair and management of CAAC facilities.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Housing Department Leadership.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional job site environment, in off-site venues, construction sites and outside areas. Role routinely uses standard Weatherization equipment and
tools along with general construction equipment. Work attire should include close toe shoes, long pants, and long sleeve shirts as needed.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties
of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must
frequently lift and/or move objects up to 60 pounds and occasionally assist in lifting and/or moving objects in excess of 70 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Approximate days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Official schedule will be determined upon
program needs. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel: Moderate travel required. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Commitment to CAAC goals and mission. Possession of a valid Driver's License.
