Job Summary
The Alleghany County Treasurer’s office is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual for the entry level position of Deputy I.
Duties: Collection of receipts, posting accounts, balancing cash drawer, data entry, answering phone, organize data on spreadsheets and additional duties as assigned and/or needed.
Qualifications: Candidate must be dependable and work well with the general public and co-workers. Interested individuals must be detail oriented and possess good communications skills.
Experience: Proficiency in computer skills, cash handling and the ability to learn in a stress filled environment is essential. Applicant should have experience working with the public.This role requires strong organizational abilities and the capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion. The Deputy will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities while contributing to the overall success of the office.
