This is a PRN position, requiring work on an as-needed basis.
Essential Job Functions:
- Front-Line Ambassador: Continuously serves as a representative of the highest quality care and service, treating each patient with respect.
- Team Collaboration: Works effectively with others to deliver exceptional care and service on a continuous basis.
- Performance Standards: Follows Alleghany Health standards of performance at all times.
- Regulatory Compliance: Always adheres to regulatory requirements.
- Registration Process: Completes the registration process while meeting quality and wait time goals, including obtaining required information and signatures.
- Client-Specific Tasks: Depending on the assigned client location, may screen patients for Medicaid or other financial programs, provide bedside financial counseling, and perform other tasks as needed.
- Clerical Functions: Performs clerical duties such as answering phones, chart processing, and filing.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Customer Service Experience: 6 months of experience in a customer service role, interacting directly with customers in person.
