Position Overview: Allegheny CleanWays is looking for a reliable and energetic Part-Time Land Crew Leader. In this role, you will lead weekend DumpBuster cleanups, working with volunteers to clean illegal dumpsites across Allegheny County, and help with the StepKeeper stewardship program.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate DumpBuster cleanups with a small crew and volunteers.
- Ensure safety during cleanups and train volunteers.
- Support the StepKeeper program and assist with planning events.
- Maintain program data and act as a liaison between residents and Allegheny CleanWays.
- Promote programs and recruit volunteers through outreach.
- Attend meetings and assist with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Required: Clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and personal vehicle. Ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift 50 pounds.
- Preferred: Cleanup experience, CPR/First Aid, basic computer skills, and equipment operation experience.
