Allegheny Coatings is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Ridgway, PA. What You'll Do
Payroll & Compensation Administration
- Oversee salary and hourly payroll accuracy and processing.
- Manage wage increases, bonuses, garnishments, and payroll deductions.
- Track and reconcile post-payroll reporting and insurance premiums.
Benefits Administration
- Administer health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401K plans.
- Coordinate COBRA, annual renewals, and census data with brokers.
- Support employee inquiries and onboarding/offboarding benefit tasks.
Leave & Compliance Management
- Serve as initial contact for FMLA, ADA, and short-term disability processes.
- Ensure compliance documentation is complete and up to date.
- Support EEOC and 401K audit documentation.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Post job openings internally and externally.
- Screen applications, schedule interviews, and extend offers.
- Conduct onboarding and ensure complete new hire paperwork.
Employee Relations & Events
- Act as a neutral HR liaison in conflict resolution.
- Participate in the Safety Committee and manage worker's compensation/unemployment claims.
- Coordinate company events and support branded gear purchases.
Administrative Support
- Maintain PTO documentation and reconcile benefit invoices.
- Manage and organize employee records in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in HR coordination, payroll, or benefits administration.
- Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, and EEOC compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
