About the Role

Housing & Homeless Services Intern



Assist Housing and Homeless Services staff with projects related to affordable housing and homelessness in Allegheny County.


Responsibilities

  • Support individualized projects and research.
  • Perform data entry tasks.
  • Attend meetings to understand challenges and solutions in affordable housing.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.


About the Role

Family Strengthening Intern



Aid in the development of tools and policy documents for Family Strengthening programs while enhancing service cooperation.


Responsibilities

  • Revise and develop tools for Family Centers, Home Visiting, and Immigrant Services.
  • Review and analyze qualitative and quantitative data for quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and community organizations.


Required Skills

  • Background in data analysis preferred.


About the Role

Access and Economic Stability Intern



Support programs aimed at helping individuals access human services and achieve financial stability.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with operations of the Allegheny Go transit fares and DHS PennDOT ID programs.
  • Track referrals and support customer service and outreach functions.


Required Skills

  • High level of organization.

Veteran Services Intern



Provide support to veterans experiencing homelessness and transitions post-service through various administrative tasks.


Responsibilities

  • Assist Benefits Assistant and Service Officers with scheduling and outreach.
  • Conduct data entry and document processing.
  • Help veterans access eligible benefits and services.

  • Detail-oriented and organized.
