Make a difference in the lives of preschool early intervention students in the Pittsburgh region. The Allegheny Intermediate Unit (AIU) is seeking motivated and caring Speech Language Pathologists to support our Preschool Early Childhood Program.
Our early childhood education programs span across Allegheny County and are designed to help children three to five years old with an IEP acquire the skills needed for kindergarten.
What You Will Do: Itinerant Speech Language Pathologist serve young children in Preschool Early Intervention. Itinerant Speech Language Pathologist conduct screenings and in-depth evaluations for intake and in-program children and deliver specially designed instructions/consultation to eligible young children in the community settings: preschool, childcare, or home.
Work-Life Balance and Benefits: Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The step 1 annual salary for this contracted Speech Language Pathologist opening is $47,000.00/MS. Speech Language Pathologist work 190 days a year. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes:

Qualifications:
1. Valid PA certification in Speech Language Impaired K-12 required
2. Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required
3. Experience working with the preschool population in Early Childhood Environments preferred
