What are the responsibilities and job description for the Subcontract Closeout and Compliance Support Specialist position at Allegheny Science & Technology?
Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) is seeking a Subcontract Closeout and Compliance Support Specialist to support our DOE team for a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. This position is 100% remote and will support a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 – 5:00 PM MST.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is $70,000 - $75,000.

- Closeout the backlog of subcontracts for the acquisition services group.
- Track and report out the number of subcontracts completed weekly.
- Document the closeout files as needed for the closeout to be completed.
- Help answer internal questions on policy/procedures.
- Help preparation for PERT.
- Help with the PPC mailbox and customer help desk.
- Help gather information for new compliance requirements and documents.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 1-5 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to work with high volume workload and quick turnarounds.
- Ability to work down a list of tasks.
- Customer service skills.
- Project solving skills.
- Government policy / process knowledge.
- M&O knowledge.
- DEAR / FAR experience.
- Prior closeout or Compliance experience.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Ability to successfully pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- Execute Exclusive Representation Agreement with AST.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is $70,000 - $75,000.
