ATI is currently looking for a Quality Control Analyst to join our facility located in Cudahy, WI. A successful Quality Control Analyst will Implement, administer, maintain and improve required quality systems pertaining to gauge control/calibration, contract reviews, nonconforming materials, corrective action systems, specification management, statistical analysis and Delegated Quality Representative (DQR) self-release functions. The Quality Control Analyst performs all database management and record retention functions related to these quality systems.
- Maintains Gauge Control/Calibration system for all dimensional inspection equipment on a plant-wide basis.
- Maintains calibration standards. Calibrates various measurement equipment, master gauges, templates and inspection fixtures. Identifies and troubleshoots problems with measurement equipment and repairs whenever possible. Creates necessary calibration instructions. Maintains associated gauge control/calibration databases, gauge records, gauge certifications and generates reports as directed.
- Coordinates with and administers external calibration services.
- Perform contract review of purchase orders, specifications, drawings, and other associated documents for quality control, inspection and identity related requirements. Documents and communicates results. Completes and maintains all necessary documents as required.
- Develop and maintain quality control technical documentation and databases that includes but not limited to; Inspection Method Sheets (IMS's), Inspection Records, Ballooned Drawings and First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) forms. Upload Ballooned Drawings, completed First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) forms and other required data into the customer's supplier portal as required.
- Preparation and submittal of concession packages for dimensionally deviated material. Submittals may include entries into a customer's supplier portal. Communicates customer disposition and special requirements to all applicable personnel. Updates all associated databases and maintains all applicable records.
- Administers the Corrective Action systems in accordance with applicable quality management system requirements. Manage the status of corrective actions in the system ensuring adequacy/timeliness of corrective action responses/implementation, maintain associated databases and generate reports as directed.
- Distributes new and revised customer, government and industry-imposed specification along with other applicable documentation to appropriate personnel for review/comments, ensures timely responses, maintains all applicable records and updates associated databases.
- Organize product and/or process data and perform various statistical analysis of that data in order to determine if the process is in a state of statistical control and capable of meeting stated requirements. Utilizes associated databases to generate statistical reports, maintains those records and generates reports as directed.
- Perform customer Delegated Quality Representative (DQR) self-release activities as directed and on an as needed basis in accordance with internal quality system, industry and customer requirements. Will require training, certification and ongoing recertification to SAE AS13001 and applicable customer specifications and requirements.
- Work as a team performing multiple functions on a daily basis to facilitate departmental efficiencies. Recommend and participate in continual improvement initiatives utilizing current and emerging technologies/methodologies to improve performance, reduce costs, and/or reduce administrative time.
