Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The CNC Operator will ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
Duties
- Operate CNC machines, including programming and setting up equipment for production runs.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Utilize basic math skills to calculate dimensions, tolerances, and other measurements as needed.
- Assemble and fabricate parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Use CAM programming software to create and modify machining programs as required.
- Operate press brake machines and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including any issues encountered during the process.
- Assist in the packaging of finished products for shipment or storage.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve production processes.
- Operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the manufacturing facility.
Experience
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and techniques is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of logic controllers and their application in CNC operations is beneficial.
- Experience with CAM programming software is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies in the manufacturing environment.
