Allegiance Crane & Equipment is a leader in the crane industry and currently seeking a Fleet Coordinator to join our corporate team in the Clear Lake area. The Fleet Coordinator will support the Director of Asset Management by managing Buyer communications, assisting with sales documentation, and coordinating activities to ensure smooth and efficient fleet operations. This position is responsible for the efficient management and coordination of the crane and vehicle fleet to ensure timely, and cost-effective operations. This position also requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates local to the Clear Lake Area will be prioritized for this position, and it is an on-site role, not available for remote work.
Job Duties
- Assist the Director of Asset Management with generating quotes, proposals, and contracts for fleet sales, leasing deals and acquiring assets.
- Obtain and manage all necessary paperwork for fleet vehicle sales, including Titles/MSO’s, purchase orders, invoices, and sales agreements.
- Follow up with customers to ensure a timely response to quotes and inquiries.
- Communicate between branch teams, logistics, finance, and other internal departments to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Assist in tracking performance and fleet utilization, providing reports to the Director of Asset Management.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.
- Coordinate fleet inspections and maintenance requirements to comply with acceptable standards.
- Organize electronic sales documents and buyer information in a structured, easily accessible manner.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of available cranes and other heavy equipment for sale.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in supply chain management or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in fleet management preferred.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment, crane models, or fleet sales processes is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit at a computer, read computer screen, and input information for long periods of time. Sharing office space is a possibility. Some light travel could be required. Must be able to move about office as needed. Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds.
